The FieldConnex ® PROFIBUS Compact Power Hub is a modular fieldbus power supply. The power supply consists of 1 Motherboard as mounting base and wiring interface, 2 Power Modules - 1 per segment, and 1 gateway module for connection to PROFIBUS DP.
Communication is transparent between DP and PA: The gateway Segment Coupler makes each PA device appear as if it was connected to DP. This includes cyclic/acyclic data exchange and transmission speed. Segment design is clear and easy to understand without subnetworks. The PROFIBUS Power Hub Gateway Module itself is configuration-free – all reducing engineering work.
Availability and a long service life are achieved through: only 1 passive impedance filter per segment, optimized design for low-power dissipation, high-availability fieldbus termination, and plug-in connectors with retaining screws.
