From February 19 to 23, industry experts will meet at R+T 2024 to discover the latest innovations at the world's leading trade fair for roller shutters, doors/gates, and sun shading systems. Under the motto "Create. Sustainable. Future. TogetheR+T.", visitors will learn how they can save energy and increase user comfort with intelligent building automation. Pepperl+Fuchs will also be exhibiting in Stuttgart—for the first time together with Witt Sensoric GmbH, the subsidiary with unique expertise in door protection, and Sensotek GmbH, the specialist for entrance automation within the Pepperl+Fuchs Group. The Product Highlights from Witt Sensoric
The LIGI safety light curtain enables noncontact detection of people and objects in the gate area. This eliminates the requirement for annual testing of closing forces. In addition, the LIGI portfolio offers the largest selection of variants on the market: With many different light curtain lengths, the ideal variant can be found for virtually any door height.
The fully encapsulated SIGNAL safety edge is installed in a rubber profile that is mounted over the entire front edge of the door leaf. This protection ensures maximum resistance to snow, rain, and other environmental influences. Since the safety edge is suitable for door widths of up to 12 m, it can be used on wide sectional doors.
With the ARGOS thru-beam sensor, Witt Sensoric offers an ideal solution for sliding and sectional doors. Due to its particularly compact housing of only Ø 25 mm, it can be fully integrated into the door frame, keeping it protected against damage and vandalism.
The Product Highlights from Sensotek
Gate systems are used, for example, in courthouses or IT buildings to ensure that certain areas can only be entered individually. Here, the OnlyOne SSE System reliably separates people—based on a high-performance 3-D sensor with time-of-flight technology.
In order to comply with strict security requirements, certain gates at airports may only be passed through in the specified direction. The OnlyOne SDI System ensures the correct flow of people. Due to automatic reverse direction blocking, it is ensured that persons cannot move in the opposite direction.
