GLV18 series background suppression photoelectric sensor models precisely sense objects to an adjustable distance while not detecting background conveyor sidewalls or machine panels. GLV18 photoelectric sensors detect objects with changing printing, colors, and reflectivities at similar distances without the need for reflectors or thru-beams.

GLV18 series polarized retroreflective models for clear object detection reliably detect transparent objects using a reflector mounted opposite the photoelectric sensor. A polarized filter ensures shiny objects are not mistaken for the reflector.
