2015-02-12

Intrinsic Safety Components and Industrial Enclosure Purge System categories

2015 Control Magazine Readers’ Choice Award

For the 6th year in a row, Pepperl+Fuchs has received this distinguished award for Intrinsic Safety, and for the 12th consecutive year for Purge System. More than 1000 respondents, who have buying influence or authority for industrial automation and control products, cast their vote for the suppliers that provide the best process automation products and services. Each participant was allowed to vote for up to three vendors in each category and discipline, and their first-, second-, and third-place votes were weighted to determine a rank of up to five top suppliers in each category. Receiving this commendation over multiple years reflects the confidence and trust that our customers place in Pepperl+Fuchs' products.

Intrinsic safety barriers are the core of Pepperl+Fuchs' product portfolio. Over 200 different types of devices make up the largest portfolio of its kind on the market. We offer our customers the widest selection of products for protection of electrical signals located in hazardous areas, delivering safe, reliable and efficient signal transmission between field devices and the control system.

Bebco EPS® purge and pressurization by Pepperl+Fuchs is a household name in the process automation industry, and enables general-purpose equipment to be placed in hazardous areas by creating a safe area inside of a standard enclosure.
