FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 bus terminators
Fieldbus requires proper termination. The bus terminators create the load that translates the fieldbus signal transmitted as a current change into a detected voltage on the cable. This accentuates the importance of proper and reliable bus termination, which plays an important role in system availability. The bus terminator should be configured for very high availability. Thus the FieldConnex® bus terminators have not one but four capacitors built in.
