Optionbox OB11
The Optionbox OB11 can be used if the distance between the industrial workstation and safe area is too long to allow installation of a 24 VDC supply line. The Optionbox is certified for use in Zone 1 and 21 hazardous areas according to ATEX. Optionbox OB11 supplies 24 VDC into the hazardous area and is powered by 100...240 VAC. Installation options are floor mounting or wall mounting using a bracket.
Optionbox OB31
The Optionbox OB31 allows data transfer over long distances between the Host PC and industrial workstation, and is certified for use in Zone 1 and 21 hazardous areas in accordance with ATEX and IECEx directives. Up to 2 km distance can be bridged by means of fiber-optic cable. DSL copper cables allow distances up to 1 km.
Optionbox OB31 supplies 24 VDC into the hazardous area, versions for bulk power supply by 100...240 VAC or 24 VDC are available. Installation options are floor mounting or wall mounting using a bracket.
