ML3 series photoelectric convergent mode sensors
Our ML3 series photoelectric sensors include convergent mode sensors. These miniature sensors are completely self-contained with no amplifier needed. They have a vertical mounting direction. Photoelectric sensor models with visible red and infrared light sources are also available, for alignment ease or increased optical strength, respectively.
Convergent sensors are a more efficient form of diffuse mode sensing, as both the transmitter and receiver lenses are focused to a specific distance away, which creates a higher level of excess gain for sensing even dark or dull objects. ML3 offers the smallest housing of any convergent sensors, especially useful for space-critical environments.
